Social Networking bandwagon

Ok, so I’m probably a little late on this whole social networking thing. But better late than never right? I’m going to attempt to connect with people via all these different sites. Build friends, relationships and contacts. For the most part you will find me places as either rknuppel, rknuppel4, knupNET or knup Here are a few I got started with:
Twitter – I’ve had an account but never gave any updates. Still not sure the real purpose of this but whatever. I have it connected to my AIM so I’ll give some updates on what I’m doing periodically. If anyone has Twitter – follow me here!
Facebook – This has become a huge thing in today’s world. Everywhere I go people ask if I have/use facebook. Well, now I do. The thing I struggled with was if I should separate my personal facebook from a “business” facebook? I decided NO. A friend is a friend is a friend! So one account and I’d love for my readers to add me as a friend here.
MySpace – I have an account but never really got into it. Probably won’t push this much but feel free to friend me.
MyBlogLog – I’ve used this for some time now. I really like seeing latest readers on some of my site. Add me as a friend here.
StumbleUpon – I use this a lot too. Typically I’ll submit good articles from my network to this to drive a little traffic. Would love to have some of you as Stumble friends!
Entrecard – I jumped on this bandwagon back when it started. Dropped cards and have built up credits. Probably need to learn a little bit more of how it can be useful to me. Drop your card here!
So, any thoughts on Social Networking? Most say it’s VERY addicting. How can you balance it with the rest of your daily tasks? Any tips on what is more useful, etc… Would love to have some more “friends” so add away!

I don’t have any of the other popular social networking sites, though I do enjoy forums and belong to a few.
So far the little I do is back and forth via forums or messaging so it doesn’t seem to need balancing with the rest of my life. I haven’t found it addictive yet, but maybe that’s because I don’t know many people?
