Well I’m officially back in the swing of things from my “extended” blogging vacation.  It’s always nice to take a little break from things every now and then.  But the hardest part about that is you start to form lazy habits.  I stayed away a little longer than I expected and that is because I got lazy.  But I’m back now and the mind is working better than ever  :)  Should be a great 2008 for knupNET!  So what did I do over my little mini blogging break?

• I spent significantly more time playing with my kids.  They are just 2 and 4 and I love playing with them.  Sometimes it’s hard for me to put down my ‘work’ and I know thats not good.  So this was a nice little reminder of how important it is to spend time with them.
• Watched several movies with my wife.  I never do this!  I’ve always viewed movies at home as a ‘waste of time’ because I’m not getting anything productive out of it.  But that’s just the point.  It’s relaxing to veg on the couch and just watch a movie.  Plus quality time with the wife is a good thing
• Did mindless things on the PC that I never do.  Such as browse sports forums, play in online arcades, chat via IM, etc… All the things that get you NO WORK DONE.  Fun to do for a while, but not good to do all the time.
• Watched lots of football and basketball!
• Played WII with my family.

So there you have it.  A little recap of what I have been doing.  Productive? NO!  Refreshing? YES!  But that fun is over and it’s time to start the New Year off with a bang!
