Housecleaning

Sep 9th, 2008 | By knup | Category: Make Money Online, My Feature, Personal, knupNET Sites

So as you can tell I have not updated this blog in a while.  Why is that?  Well, sometimes taking on 3 kids, a wife, a full time job, a home business, 100′s of websites and some time for fun becomes a little overbearing  :)   My life is busy as you can tell. Making money online goes on auto-pilot every so often when I can’t find time to blog.  But I have come to one realization – I have too much.

I have 25-50 domains out there that are just “waiting” for a website to be built on. I have no time to “website flip” these days and I’m dreaming if I think I’ll find the time to develop these.  So why let them sit there and decay?  It is time to get rid of some of this excess and really focus on a few niche’s that I am interested in.  For instance, Sports, celebrities and gambling sites.  That is my passion.  After that – all other sites in my portfolio MUST have an “admin” taking care of them or they will go bye-bye.

I’m going to be posting several domain/site sales up at Digital Point over the next couple days so I’ll let you all know how that turns out.

  1. Well, even though you are a very busy person.. I am glad that you can still post. I am looking forward for more post.

  2. Thanks a lot for the post. Hope you still have time to manage to keep on posting.

  3. Yeah, I know what you mean sometimes your eyes are bigger then your stomach hahah :P You need to keep everything you have manageable and in control. Also keeping a balance so you have time for other things going on in your life.

  4. So many domains without a website? It could become expensive during renewals if you are not earning from them!

  5. My advice is to put a blog on every site that doesnt have content, and age the domains. That way the age of the domains is being recorded and google is also startign to visit regularlry. I find on any new domains it takes 3 – 6 months to build up the popularity with SES. so what better way to start that than an autoposting blog?

  6. Great post…this post would help us that we have be to take care of our house.:)

  7. I agree. I bought a bunch of domains up one time with good keywords but things I was not interested in. Those domains sat and sat. Just too painstaking to work on them when I was completely disinterested. My sites that are topics I am interested in (jewelry for example) I can site and write 5, 6 articles in one sitting. Much more fun and probably in the long run will be better because the content will be higher quality.

  8. Whats ur ID at Digital Point, would like to know when u would be offering the domains for sale.
