SportsBonehead.com revamped
Sep 14th, 2007 | By knup | Category: knupNET SitesSo I finally decided to take action on SportsBonehead.com! I got with one of my buddies to propose a ‘partnership’ on this site. He loves to write and is very skilled at it. We’ll both write but I’m sure he’ll end up putting more content out there than me. I’ll be behind the scenes doing all the ‘dirty work’ to keep the site afloat. Hopefully, it blows up and I’ll have some huge earnings to report to you in the next 6 months. We are splitting the profits 50/50. You might ask why I’m doing this? Well, the site is making NOTHING as it is. Isn’t 50% of something better than 100% of nothing? I think so. I converted the site to the standard wordpress installation and installed the appropriate plugins. Also spent some time designing a header to fit the new theme.

Site looks very nice .. clean theme … and, looking at the calenedar you couldn’t have picked a better time to get a sports-related blog on the move.
A lot of folks reading this should take a message … if you own a URL and you don’t have time for it … do _something_ rather than wait for the “big opportunity”. Doing something is better than doing nothing.
Even if you only park the domain on a service like Sedo it only has to earn .025 cents per day … $0.75 a month to have a positive ROI … and even a really “weak” blog can mke more than that. Head ‘em up and move ‘em out … now is the best time.

This is a great idea… I’m definitely looking to start taking on some writers for some of my blogs as it’s sometimes hard to write for all at once AND have a life.. Any tips you may have or resources about how to get writers for a blog?
