Today is my birthday! Besides falling on my butt yesterday due to the ice, things are good :)  I had a busy birthday as you can read on my personal blog. Decided to wind down a bit tonight and post my November earnings.

I really felt the effects of baseball ending. As you know I’m in the sports niche quite a bit. Lots of sites in this niche. They are fun - but only profitable during certain seasons. With baseball ending, those sites took a huge hit. I expected the drop - but not this much. I missed my goal of $400 and hit just $263.38 this month. Ouch! My October earnings were well over $700.

Some good things did happen this month.  My RSS subscriber count jumped a bit to 40. Woohoo. lol… I know that is small to most of you but it’s something. I fell like I made a few great investments in some sites that will pay off in the long run. They were costs and expenses this month - but a year down the road I hope they are paying off. I’m diving into PPC and affiliate marketing for the first time so I spent a lot of time studying that. If I can learn that my earnings will skyrocket  :)  Adsense changed their “clickable area” which played a small part in my decreases. Overall, I felt like a lot of work got done on my network. Lots of new sites, lots of content written on the network.  Also partnered up with 3 people on 3 different sites.  This will be good in the long run as “half of something is better than all of nothing”. Things will grow! So here was the breakdown of the sites:

Goals for December
Everyone needs goals.  Here are my goals for December. I’ll make sure to address each one of these at the end of December and see if I hit them.

• To increase RSS readers to 50+
• To increase income for December to $350
• To NOT buy another domain or site in December.
• To update entire network with proper SEO plugins and do some major SEO work.
• To hire 2-3 more writers to write for sites in my network. (I hired one in November and she is doing a great job)
• Release a new theme for knupNET.com (nothing fancy).
• Learn, Learn, Learn about PPC and Affiliate programs.  I don’t expect to “make money” yet with these. I actually expect to spend quite a bit of money.  But at the end of December I hope to feel a lot better about this.
• Comment more and take more time to relate with other bloggers.
• Build links on a handful of my sites.
