My whole family wanted it!

As soon as I got my shirt in the mail I ripped the package open and tried this thing on. Immediately, my wife started winking at me, my kids started gravitating towards me. I was insta-popular! This shirt truly does amazing things. Before I knew it, my whole family was begging to have their shot to wear this tshirt. I finally gave in as you’ll see below.

My oldest (and most stubborn) son wouldn’t turn around so I got a nice back side photo with him wearing it!

My wife even begged to wear it!  Amazing!  I wanted her to wait and hold out for the “queens version” but she couldn’t wait.

Finally I got the shirt back to myself. I’m fairly confident I’m going to need to buy some kid sizes for them to wear in the near future though! I’m hesitant to even wear this thing around my friends for the fear of them tearing it straight off my body in a jealous rage.

I’ve even caught wind that some of our favorite affiliates in the industry are wearing these shirts.  I don’t have an action photo of them but the rumor is Missy Ward, Zac Johnson, Murray Newlands and John Chow have all been spotted rocking these sweet shirts!

Why this post?

So many of you are probably thinking – why in the world is Knup writing this post? Well, as most of you have probably figured out, it is for a contest. In today’s world, I probably rack up $2000-$3000 of monthly expenses a month.  Now I could simply use a debit card or pay right out of checking. But why? If I can be responsible enough to pay off the credit cards every month, why not take advantage of their cash back?  Heck, you could easily be getting up to $100 a month just from using some of the best cash back credit cards.

So where do you find these offers?  Well they are all over.  The best site I’ve found online to find cash back credit cards is !  They lay out several offers in a very easy to read format. Gives you details such as Intro Rate, period, apr and cash back details.

Ok, enough on this.  Back to internet marketing tomorrow but I wanted to get this little tidbit off my chest.

• Should I sell or buy links? You here all the time – don’t sell links on your site or Google will ban you.
• Be careful not to “click” your own ad or your adsense account will be deleted.
• Should I really spend 5 hours developing this site? Will it pay off?
• I see a site for sale at a decent price – do I take it at BIN or take my chances and make a lower bid for it? Knowing that someone else can swoop it up at BIN.
• When I want to find a great internet marketing resource I’ll head out to a “top list” or a “review” site similar to 45n5.com to find some of the top blogs in the industry. When I’m looking for the best and safest place to wager a little money, all I do is head over to a place like ixgames.com for some great Online casino reviews.

These are all prime examples of why this industry is kinda like gambling. You are risking your time and sometimes your money in hopes that your next site will “make it big“. Do any of you feel this way sometimes? Or do you just do the “sure things” all the time?

What is it? It’s called a Tread Desk. In all honestly, I found this kind of funny because I actually have been multi-tasking lately and walking on my treadmill while I read through my RSS feeds. My laptop fits perfectly on my treadmill ledge. Obviously it’s tough and probably unsafe to try to type while walking this way. But for reading through and catching up with my daily feeds, it’s perfect. Now I can burn calories while still getting something productive done. Anyone else do anything kookie like this? I’m going to coin the phrase “Excer-blogging”!!!

I especially enjoy when guys like Zac and Shoemoney show a little more detail.  I mean you hear all this stuff about them making bagillions of dollars and that they are super affiliates, etc… But to see it for yourself is a good thing!  I can’t wait to make it to a conference in the near future and meet some people like this.  Get some real first hand knowledge and pick their brains a bit 

I started to show all my earnings here at knupNET a few months back, but found it kinda worthless.  First of all I’m not making thousands of dollars a month (just hundreds).  I think my time is a little better spent monetizing my network than showing what I made last month.  I’ll try to give an update every few months but the every month update is done for.

So what do you think?  Do you like seeing peoples proof of profit?  Do you believe them?  Should they just keep it to themselves or are they trying to help?

So along came Google Gmail.  I went one by one through my email addresses and:

1. Set up a forwarder from my current email to my new Gmail address.
2. Added the account to Gmail.
3. Verified the account. It sent an email to my new Gmail address so it made it VERY easy to verify.
4. Created a filter in Gmail to assign a label to the email. This is key as I still wanted to filter which email goes to which account.

Gmail handles this perfectly. I can compose emails from any of my 50+ email addresses. When I receive an email the filters put the correct label on it.  Very simple to archive messages for a later use. When I respond to messages it uses the appropriate reply address! Awesome!

Now I can effectively manage my internet marketing emails from home, work, cell phone, anywhere! If you are still using Outlook today – make the switch to Gmail. It’s well worth it!

With blogging a lot of times family life suffers. You get in that blogger zone where you only focus on your site. Taking some time to just relax with the family is healthy. My kids could tell that I was giving them more attention and I’m sure my wife could as well.

As I spent time working on what I like to call, “the dirty work”. I found that this was refreshing. Without this type of work – there is no making money online for me. Keeping up with my sites is a huge task and when I blog I sometimes am not motivated to do the development and upkeep of the other sites.

A few things in the works that I have updates for:

• I’m revitalizing one of my deal sites. I’ll release this a bit later. This was an old site that I kinda let die. I’m going to focus on getting it going again.
• I am really researching and studying affiliate marketing and PPC. This is one area that I am just NOT GOOD at. Never been able to make a dime with affiliates. It frustrates me to know end and it’s time to learn. I can make it happen.
• Hiring writers to keep up with a lot of my blogs/sites. Especially in the Celebrity Club Network.
• Partnering with friends and colleagues on sites. As I always say, “half of something is better than all of nothing”.
• Working on some link building strategies for some of my new sites.
• Goal to grow the RSS readership of knupNET to 100+

So that is that. I am here. I had a great Thanksgiving. And I’m rejuvenated and ready to continue on helping you and I “Learn to Earn”.

You see these things all the time. “Free this” or “Free that”. Are they real? I typically just think no way, not a chance. I saw a news video about this offer and they sure seem legit. I decided this time to TRY IT and see for myself.

We will see soon enough. I will report back all my findings on this. But don’t be mad at me if I get my FREE iPOD TOUCH and you DID NOT try this. I think it’s worth the gamble.

So is this going to be a trend that others follow?  I think so.  I’m planning on setting one night a week or something to dedicate to this.  I think it might be neat to allow readers of knupNET to ask questions if they so choose.  Even if no one has questions – they can then put MY face with the knupNET site.  Pretty valuable if you ask me.

• My CubsSuckClub.com site blew up this last week.  This is always expected when the Cubs do well because the haters really come out.  But it was by far it’s biggest earning week ever!  Excited to share some of the detailed stats with you at the close of this month.  Sold some shirts, adsense went nuts and even had some text links sell.
• I wanted to thank all of you for the emails and comments over the last week.  It is nice to feel a part of the bigger community and to get a little link love as well.  I’m here to help others in the industry and I feel it is sosososo important for us to stick together.  We can’t compete with the “big dogs” but if we stick together we can give them a run for their money.
• I’m considering a redesign for knupNET.com but not sure what to do.  I love the simplistic look of the blog but sometimes it just feels too blah!  Know what I mean?  I hate to spend time or money enhancing it as I definitely have more things I could do 
• I’ve added a bunch of new sites to the Niche Content Network but have not started adding or developing them yet.  Just have the domain name (mostly .info’s since they are cheap) and will start adding content soon.  Anyone know of a good content writer that is affordable?
• I had a short server outage this weekend but it was planned.  They were doing an upgrade on the server. Luckily it was only 5-10 minutes but I apologize if anyone noticed it.
