I broke down! I told myself over and over and over again that I was NOT going to be a part of this .ME madness. Why? The domains are more expensive, etc… I figured all good domains were gone. Well, I couldn’t stay away. You all know I’m huge into the sports niche so I started plugging in some common keywords for some of the big sports. And what do you know – some were available. So I grabbed:

What am I going to do with them? NO CLUE! But when all other extensions are taken you know it’s probably a decent domain to grab up. The one thing I did not like was GoDaddy forced a 2 year term on me. Oh well, part of the business I guess. So now what? Develop them or just hold them and sell them in the future?

Time for some house cleaning

Sometimes it’s hard to admit when you are taking on more than you can handle.Â Well, that is the case with me right now.Â I’ve decided to scale back my mini-networks from 6 networks to just 4 networks.Â Two networks, the Celeb Fan Zone and the Niche Content Network were great ideas – but never got the proper attention from me.Â It’s been almost 2 years now and I’ve still done nothing on 98% of those sites.Â I’ve lost nearly $500 just on domain names alone that are sitting there.Â Don’t get me wrong – this is a great idea and would be profitable with some time.Â But I don’t have that time so it’s time to cut my losses and move on.

The other thing that really has been bugging me about these networks is that it’s not FUN for me.Â They are not my passion.Â I don’t want to create a billion blogs on random things just to do.Â Now, in the USportsNetwork.com I have a much easier time doing this, because I love sports! Period!

So, here are some of the key things that I’m doing during this transition:

1) Removing the NicheContentNetwork.info from my network
a) Selling 50 of the domains in a package on DP.
b) Moved over SuspendersGuide.com, GPSLead.com, RelationshipArea.com, QuitSmokingRx.com, NichePoints.com, PlaystationPro.info, CreditCount.info, KnowLoans.info, MovieCelebrities.net, TakeANap.net to the general knupNET mini-network.Â Move VegasNBA.info to the USportsNetwork. Get rid of the rest of the domains.

2) Removing the CelebFanZone.com from my network
a) Moved all sports related domains/sites to the USportsNetwork.com
b) Moved JoeJonas.info to the knupNET network.
c) Selling the other 13 sites in a package on DP.

In an attempt to clean up the networks a little further I have:
- Added a Gambling directory to USportsNetwork.com and moved over RakeItIn.net and PickemCentral.com

I’m now excited that my venture will be a little more focused. I’m truly a fan of Sports and Celebrity sites. Maybe not the best “niches” to get into for making money – but I can work with it and I truly have fun doing it. For my random fix I’ll just work on my knupNET mini-network sites.Â That’s all for now!

Domain searching has become easier

Anyone ever have trouble finding the domain name they want? I’ve spent hours upon hours at GoDaddy.com and places like that in search of the perfect domain name. Well, check out InstantDomainSearch.com and start searching. I’m starting to become addicted to this site. Literally, within 10 minutes you can check hundreds of combinations. It’s like real time checking if .com, .net and .org is available. You start typing in the domain name and it shows you – as you go – if you domain is available. Great stuff!
