Has anyone ever used BlogDesk?

Yesterday I started using an “offline blogging application” called BlogDesk. It’s a free tool and it is sweet. I know most of you probably already use something like this – but I never have. I always thought it would be more work than just logging into WordPress and posting. But it’s not at all. I love that I can set up multiple blogs in BlogDesk and then just post to any of them at anytime, without having to log back into my WordPress Admin account. Money!
This truly saves me TONS of time when i am blogging for dozens of websites. So, I’d love to hear from my readers. Do any of you use someting similar to this? Anything better that I’m missing?

This sounds really interesting. I am thinking of installing it on my Windows Laptop that travels with me. I think it will enable me to manage and create posts even when I do not have Internet access while traveling. My main computer is a Mac and they don’t seem to support that, but oh well!
Thanks for sharing!
Annie… No problem. Thanks for the comment. I think this would be PERFECT for your situation when traveling… Then when you get an internet connection just hit publish
Thanks for the great post! I had heard of this before but forgot about it. Time to install it again as it will come in handy in the very near future:)
For a free, stand-alone blog editor, Windows Live Writer has a lot more features. There are plug-ins to allow posting content from Flickr photo streams, and other such sources. BlogDesk looks OK, but I really think there is more to Live Writer for the same price…FREE!
Thanks for the review though.
Hmmm, I’ve been blogging for quite some time now and I haven’t heard of this product. I have quite a few blogs nowadays so this might just be the kind of tool I’m looking for. Iget the feeling blogdesk isn’t free though going on the above comment?
Tracee… Let me know how it goes!
Lee… I just tried Windows Live Writer and you are correct – it is slick looking. I had some major problems with it though. I use WordPress MU and Live Writer had some issues when dealing with multiple sites under one MU install… Blogdesk handled them very smoothly. Thanks for the tip but for what I’m doing I think I better stick with Blogdesk.
Anthony… Blogdesk is indeed, FREE!!!! Let me know how it goes if you try it.

I love Blogdesk. Funny, I do not use it for blogging however. What I do is import images, use the cool image tools Blogdesk has, do a screenshot into a image program and I have a cool looking image for my blog. The half paper tear look is the coolest!
does people love to see images more than articles?
Great share. I have been blogging for quite some time and used that.
